Hi, I’m Judi Leib, and I am the founder and Chef at Whisk In The Southern. Whisk In The Southern was born from my passion for cooking, along with the infusion of my Georgia roots and southern California living into the food I make. For me, cooking has always been fun and visual. I have done it all in the food business. From attending culinary school to working in kitchens, all the way to becoming the General Manager of a classic Los Angeles restaurant. I love this business no matter what my role is! From the beginning, food has always been a big part of my life, and I am grateful to be able to share it with you here at Whisk in the Southern.

I always say, “If it smells good together, it tastes good together.” My style of cooking is adaptable and innovative. Whether it’s my recipe or someone else’s, I’m always seeking to push it to the next level by adding my own personal touch. One of the best parts of California is the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, which I include as much as I can in my recipes. In the South, there was always chicken salad and pound cake to be had! The kitchen was filled with an abundance of comfort foods that evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia with every bite. With every recipe that I make, I always make sure to include my secret Southern ingredient… love. Whisk In The Southern utilizes Southern kitchen staples incorporated into the SoCal kitchen.
