These were a favorite of my grandfather. I had so much fun recreating it. I hope I made him proud.

Tea Cakes
- 1/4 Cup Dry Milk Powder
- 3/4 Cup Buttermilk, at room temperature
- 1-1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour, sifted
- 1-1/12 tsps. Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 6 Tbs. Unsalted Butter, cubed, at room temperature
- 2/3 Cup Granulated White Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Lg. Egg
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Glaze
- 4 Tbs. Unsalted Butter
- 4 Tbs. Water, can use juice
- 2 Tbs. Light Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Cups Confectioners Sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
